Intrinsic colour calibration for F, G, K stars
We derive an intrinsic colour calibration for F–K stars using broad band Johnson colours and line indices KP and HP2. Through this calibration we can determine E(B−V ) of an individual star within 0.03 mag. The E(B−V ) values thus derived are in excellent agreement with those derived from Strömgren photometry through the Schuster & Nissen (1989) calibration. The agreement is also good with the ...
متن کاملf-DERIVATIONS AND (f; g)-DERIVATIONS OF MV -ALGEBRAS
Recently, the algebraic theory of MV -algebras is intensively studied. In this paper, we extend the concept of derivation of $MV$-algebras and we give someillustrative examples. Moreover, as a generalization of derivations of $MV$ -algebraswe introduce the notion of $f$-derivations and $(f; g)$-derivations of $MV$-algebras.Also, we investigate some properties of them.

In group theory, it is a fundamental question to determine what information about a group is necessary and sufficient tomake a group finitely presented. In this paper, we develop the theory of Σ-invariants due to Robert Bieri and Ralph Strebel [Bieri] whi provides an answer to this question for the class of metabelian groups. We begin our study of Σ-invariants with a digression on group extens...
متن کامل$\mathbb{F}_{q}[G]$-modules and $G$-invariant codes
If Fq is a finite field and G is a subgroup of the linear automorphisms of F q , a solution to the problem of finding all the G-invariant linear codes C of F q (i.e. such that g(C) = C for all g ∈ G) is offered. This will be referred as the invariance problem. When n = |G|t, we determine conditions for the existance of an isomorphism of Fq[G]modules between F q and Fq[G]× · · · × Fq[G] (t-times...
